The Supreme Court on Tuesday said it will pass an order on a plea seeking to make higher education institutions physically accessible for disabled students. New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday said it will pass an order on a plea seeking to make higher education institutions physically accessible for disabled students. Counsel for the petitioner organisation said the college at the private university does not have facilities for disabled students despite a law which mandates provision of facilities to such students. The bench then outlined three issues — provision of reservation in higher educational institutions for disabled, all educational institutions being made physically accessible for disabled students and the scope of several provisions of the Act.
