Gurgaon: Huda hears owner’s plea on NPR plot return

In a fresh bid to remove all bottlenecks to the Northern Peripheral Road also known as the Dwarka Expressway project, the Haryana Urban Development Authority on Saturday heard the plea of landowner who wants his plot returned. The landowner moved the Punjab and Haryana High Court against the Huda around six months ago, demanding an alternative plot as the authority had acquired his land at Sector 110 A in New Palam Vihar to rehabilitate the NPR oustees. The big-ticket infrastructure project has been holding fire and has missed several deadlines as a section of landowners holding general power of attorney or special power of attorney were not made part of the plot draw for oustees and moved court against the Huda. A GPA holder himself and aware that the Huda wasn’t willing to consider the likes of him for the plot draw, the petitioner had earlier moved court demanding that he be shifted to an alternative plot.
