Max Temperature In Delhi To Touch 47°C In Coming Days, Warns IMD; Heatwave Alert Till June 14
News 18After some days of respite in the heatwave conditions, the Indian Meteorological Department again warned that the maximum temperature in Delhi will touch 47 degree Celsius in the coming days and issued an orange alert in the NCR from June 11 to 13. The maximum temperature mark in Delhi on Monday breached the 43 degree Celsius mark, for the second consecutive day as several other neighbourhood areas experienced heatwaves-like conditions. Delhi recorded a high of 43.4 degree Celsius, 3.5 notches above the season’s average, the weather department said on Monday while some registered a maximum temperature of over 46 degrees Celsius.
