Pegasus snooping row: The story so far

The Editors Guild of India on Tuesday filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking direction for a probe by a special investigation team to ascertain the central government’s role in the Pegasus snooping allegations. Reports say journalist Paranjoy Guha Thakurta, whose phone was allegedly infiltrated with Pegasus spyware, moved the Supreme Court seeking details of snooping and relevant authorisation.
