Did Drake Question The Authenticity Of Grammy Awards? Rapper Says 'This Show Isn't The Facts...'

News 18

The Grammys, often regarded as one of the year’s most prestigious events, is no stranger to controversy, and this year is no exception. Various artists have consistently criticized the awards show and this year, Drake didn’t hold back. Remaining true to his opinions, Drake took a stand by boycotting the awards show and chose not to submit his 2022 album Honestly, Nevermind for consideration. Along with the video from past Grammy, Drake wrote, “All you incredible artists remember this show isn’t the facts it’s just the opinion of a group of people who’s name are kept are secret. Congrats to anybody winning anything for hip hop but this show doesn’t dictate shit in our world.” Although Drake wasn’t present at the event, his collaborative track Her Loss with 21 Savage earned four Grammy nominations this year, in categories such as Best Rap Album, Best Rap Performance, Best Melodic Rap Performance and Best Rap Song.
