U.S. Olympic trials: Sha’Carri Richardson wins 100 meters to punch her Paris ticket

Before Richardson took center stage, the reigning world champion at 100 meters ran his preliminary heat in 9.92 seconds, the fastest time in the first round of men’s qualifying. Speaking to the strength of the U.S. in the event, Crouser said, “if the whole world came to trials they’d get one, maybe one, spot” in the Olympics.
