Nick Kyrgios helped police track down his stolen Tesla after mother held at gunpoint

The Telegraph

Nick Kyrgios’s mother Norlaila is reported to have been held up at gunpoint in Canberra on Monday, as part of an incident which resulted in Kyrgios’s Tesla being stolen. According to the Australian broadcaster ABC, the story reached a disastrous conclusion for the thief, and a happy one for the Kyrgios family. Kyrgios was able to use his Tesla app to track the car and then slow it down, thus allowing the police to overtake and apprehend the culprit. The chase was reported to have ended soon after the car had entered a school zone, whereupon a 32-year-old man was arrested and charged with five offences including aggravated robbery, driving a stolen vehicle, furious driving, and failing to stop for police.
