Anantapur: Local police app helps in recovery of 6,000 lost phones

ANANTAPUR: The Anantapur Police claims to have set a record by recovering more than 6,000 mobile phones through Chat Bot mobile recovery app in recent months. So far, phones of people from 15 states and 18 districts AP who had lost their phones were recovered by the police by using this app and these were returned to those who lost them. This was started in June last year by way of an experiment by SP Fakeerappa Kaginelli in the name of Chat Bot app following a series of complaints over missing mobile phones. Many people who lost their phones in other states too contacted the Anantapur police and got back their phones,” Fakkeerappa said.
