The Kerala Solidarity Meeting was held on Wednesday under the aegis of CITU, All India Kisan Sabha, Farmers’ Association, Tenant Farmers’ Association, and Agricultural Workers’ Associations. Addressing the gathering, AIKS general secretary Viju Krishnan said alternative policies adopted by the Left government in Kerala in all sectors have made the State a leader in many spheres. Former Agriculture Minister and Andhra Pradesh Farmers’ Coordination Committee Convener Vadde Shobanadreeswar Rao stated that the BJP government is following corporate-friendly, anti-farmer, and anti-people policies across all sectors. Praising Kerala’s alternative policies in agriculture, cooperation, public service, education, and healthcare as a model for the nation, while accusing the BJP government at the Centre of obstructing progress and acting against the nation’s development.
