Surrey Police said two groups of people were involved in an altercation on a bridge close to the exit of the park and a man in his 20s was subsequently treated for a slash wound to his stomach. Thorpe Park said on-site medical staff provided emergency first aid after the incident. In a statement, they said: "On Saturday, an incident took place at the Thorpe Park Resort where a guest was seriously injured by another guest.
