28-year-old sets neighbour's car ablaze following parking dispute in Delhi

India Today

A 28-year-old man, Rahul Bhasin, was arrested on Monday for allegedly setting his neighbour's car on fire following a prolonged parking dispute in southeast Delhi. Bhasin, who runs an event management business and resides in Lajpat Nagar with his brother's family, had a long-standing feud with his neighbour, Ranjeet Singh, a 48-year-old founder of the cultural organisation 'Jashn-e-Adab', news agency PTI reported. CCTV footage showed Bhasin twisting the car's rearview mirror and blocking the road by parking his Mahindra Thar in the middle, prompting police to seize the Thar and initiate an investigation. On the night of November 30, the situation took a violent turn when Bhasin allegedly poured thinner on Singh's car bonnet and set it ablaze.
