Chinese National Geography magazine and Eastern Music Culture signed an agreement to promto ethnic music across China. To promote the music of different ethnic groups across China, the Chinese National Geography magazine and Eastern Music Culture signed an agreement to become strategic partners in Beijing on Aug 20. According to Cai Huaye, deputy director of the magazine, they are protecting and presenting the ethnic music culture and planning to host a Chinese National Geography music culture festival. Li Jie, singer and CEO of Eastern Music Culture who is in charge of the center, said he hoped to dig out more young folk singers and help them to devote themselves to collecting and recreating their own ethnic group's music.
