Upalokayukta appeals to govt. officials to respond to public grievances without delay

Phaneendra, Upalokayukta, received many complaints from the public and registered several of them for further investigation during his visit to Shivamogga on Wednesday. Shivamogga district administration had made arrangements for the public to submit their complaints at Kuvempu Ranga Mandir. Many of them were related to the services rendered by Shivamogga City Corporation, the Revenue Department, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Forest Department among others. Senior officers of Shivamogga district administration and Lokayukta officials were present at the meeting.
