Box office report: Udta Punjab earns more than Raman Raghav 2.0 and Junooniyat on Friday

New Delhi: Despite seeing a flurry of releases this Friday, it was last week’s release ‘Udta Punjab’ which attracted cine buffs to theatres. This week’s movies ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ and ‘Junooniyat’, recorded disastrous first days. While the Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vicky Kaushal starrer earned Rs 1.10 crore, the love story of Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam minted less than Rs 1 crore on the opening day. This is what trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the movies: Comparatively, ‘Udta Punjab’ earned more as it raked Rs 1.40 crores, but the collections saw a dratic fall.
