Studies of master Qi Baishi to intensified, calls academy's annual conference

Study of Qi Baishi, a new book of Beijing Fine Art Academy. Established in 1957, Beijing Fine Art Academy boasts a rich and quality collection of works of ink art master Qi Baishi, who was the institution's first and only honorary director. Recently the academy released its three new books, published by Guangxi Normal University Press, Study of Qi Baishi, Ten Talks About Poems of Qi Baishi and Study of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy. The books were launched at the academy's annual academic conference on Dec 1-2 at which, attendants reviewed the work of the academy over the past year and discussed the future celebration of the 160th anniversary of Qi's birth next year.
