News 18Indian cyber agency Computer Emergency Response Team in India has found multiple vulnerabilities in Android operating systems, including versions 11, 12.5.12L, and 13. According to cyber experts at CERT-In, these vulnerabilities pose a serious threat as they could potentially be exploited by malicious attackers to execute arbitrary code, gain elevated privileges, access sensitive information, and even cause a denial of service condition on targeted devices. The CERT-In vulnerability note says, “These vulnerabilities exist in Android OS due to flaws in Framework, System, Google Play system updates, Arm components, MediaTek components, Unisoc components, Qualcomm components and Qualcomm closed-source components” The cyber agency said that successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code, gain elevated privileges, gain access to sensitive information and cause denial of service condition on the targeted system.
