Arsenal fans last week protestedStan Kroenke’s ownership of the Premier League club following news of the north London side’s involvement in the planned European Super League. The fallout has continued, however, with many Arsenal fans keen to see American Kroenke sell the club, and The Telegraph reported on Monday that Spotify founder and CEO Ek is teaming up with former Gunners Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira with the hopes of pulling off a takeover. The Arsenal Supporters’ Trust said that same evening that they “will support any potential purchaser who will allow fans to own a real equity stake and give fans a meaningful say in how our club is run”.
