On Friday, Pradeepbhai Patel, 56, died on the spot after an African-American man opened fire on him and his 26-year-old daughter at 5:30 am while they were opening their store. Describing the moments leading up to their deaths, Pradeep's family said that the accused, George Frazier Devon Wharton, had been lurking around their department store all night. Six years ago, Pradeepbhai and his wife Hansaben went to the US on a visitor visa along with their youngest daughter, Urvi.
