Long-distance runner from India, Sufiya Sufi, who holds five different Guinness world records, talks about how she plans to complete a run around the globe in 740 days in 2026, and what it takes to successfully undertake ultra-marathons. The 37-year-old from Ajmer holds as many as five different Guinness world records, set in long-distance running. After completing multiple long-distance running expeditions, Sufiya, who recently finished second in the SRTL Trail Ultra 100km run, a mountain running marathon in the Sahyadri range in Pune, is now targeting an incredibly ambitious run. This was my third world record, though I couldn’t hit the target time that I had set for myself, because my preparation wasn’t up to the mark and I lacked experience of mountain running overall.
