Bengaluru Bandh: Schools Relying on Private Vehicles to Remain Shut Today
News 18The Federation of Karnataka State Private Transport Associations in Bengaluru has called for a strike or “Bengaluru Bandh” today, September 11, which would result in a disruption of operations for all private commercial vehicles operating in Karnataka’s capital city. The strike in Bengaluru today will have an impact on an array of private transport services, including auto-rickshaws, cab aggregators and school buses. Private transportation players have requested a bandh in Bengaluru to express their objection to the Shakti scheme, one of the five promises made by the government of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
