
Devotee collapses while in queue at Rameswaram temple, dies
The HinduA 59-year-old devotee from Rajasthan died after he collapsed while standing in queue at Ramanathaswamy temple in Rameswaram on Tuesday. Police said that C. Raj Das, who arrived at Rameswaram a few days ago, went for the early morning spadigalingam darshan in the Ramanathaswamy temple. This comes two days after R. Omkumar, a 50-year-old devotee from Karaikudi in Sivaganga district collapsed while standing in queue to obtain darshan ticket at Subramaniaswamy temple in Tiruchendur of Thoothukudi district on March 16 and died minutes later.
