Canon EOS-1D X Mark III camera gets firmware update for smart controller

India Today

Earlier this year, Canon EOS-1D X Mark III was launched in India. The Japanese imaging brand introduced Canon EOS-1D X Mark III for professional photo takers and filmmakers. Courtesy of Canon Rumors, we know that the Firmware Version 1.2.1 fixes a phenomenon in which the smart controller may respond slowly or not at all on some cameras. For the non-Canon camera users, Canon EOS-1D X Mark III has two smart controllers - one for horizontal shooting, and the other for vertical recording. Other than smart controller phenomenon, Canon's latest firmware brings enhancements when using Browser Remote and also fixes another phenomenon that may occur during viewfinder shooting.
