The creators of a surfing program credited with saving the lives of veterans are hoping to win support from the federal government to expand the program across Australia. Veteran Greg "Willo" Williams joined the program about two years ago and said he had found healing. About two years ago a tradie visiting his house to do some maintenance noticed Mr Williams's surfboard and army backpack and suggested he join a special veteran surfing program at Gerroa.
