'This is a grenade': MAGA melts down as judge 'forbids' Musk from accessing Treasury data
A judge on Saturday reportedly blocked Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency from accessing personal financial data from the Treasury Department, resulting in a MAGA meltdown. As BBC reports, "The move comes after 19 state attorneys general sued the Trump administration after Doge, a cost-cutting initiative led by Musk, was given access to the records." "New York Judge Paul Engelmayer just forbade all political appointees — including Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent — from accessing Dept. "The judge’s ruling is, in essence, that Scott Bessent simply occupies a ceremonial position without real power, like the King of England," Kirk said.
