NIA files chargesheet against six Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists in infiltration case
India TodayThe National Investigative Agency has filed chargesheet against six Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists in connection with an infiltration case. On January 31, a truck carrying three infiltrated Pakistani terrorists was stopped for checking at the Pathankot-Sringar Highway Toll Plaza in Jammu’s Nagrota by the security forces. While driver Sameer Ahmad Dar and his two associates - Asif Ahmad Malik and Sartaj Mantoo - had managed to escape, the heavily-armed Pakistani terrorists hiding inside the cargo cabin of the truck started firing at the police. The probe agency claims that three arrested accused - Suhaib Manzoor, Zahoor Ahmad Khan and Suhail Javed also known as Suhail Lone - were the Over-Ground Workers of JeM and provided safe shelter, logistics and communication back-up for the infiltration and transit of the Pakistani terrorists. The anti-terror agency has seized two AK-47 rifles, one AK-56, two AK-74’s, one M4 Carbine, two Glock pistols, three Chinese pistols, 35 grenades, 12 kg high-grade explosive, three Satellite phones, six wireless devices, six remote controls, nine detonators and batteries brought by the Pakistani terrorists.
