HOUSTON — Trey Owens possesses multiple traits coaches seek in a quarterback recruit. “Out of all the high schools in Texas, I’m the only they’ve liked enough to hand out an offer?” Owens said. “The timing falls just right where he’s got a chance to develop without pressure,” Joe Owens said. Owens said he won’t be sitting idly by when he gets to campus and is looking forward to getting better under Milwee and Sarkisian for a successful career at Texas, and hopefully beyond. “I’m not just gonna get pushed to the side,” Owens said.
