Fully vaccinated, coronavirus and still a green tick? Dutch app needs a fix

Dutch News

People who have been fully vaccinated but test positive for coronavirus will still have a green tick in the CoronavirusCheck app, allowing them to travel within Europe and to attend test for entry events, the Volkskrant said on Thursday. The public health institute RIVM said on Tuesday that 11% of people currently testing positive for coronavirus have been fully vaccinated. The government’s advisory Outbreak Management Team is also aware of the problem and said that there will be an update at the next press conference on August 13. A health ministry spokesman told Nu.nl there would not be a problem with the app if people kept to the rules.
