Kerala HC Allows Double-Sided Printing For Filings [Read Notification]

The Kerala High Court has issued a notification, intimating all the lawyers and other stakeholders that filings may now be made with print on both the sides of the paper. The notification, issued by the Registrar General of the high court on March 13, is a step initiated to minimize paper consumption and cater to the environmental interest. The notification states, "The Honourable the Chief Justice is pleased to do away with the Present practice of presenting all petitions, affidavits, memoranda of appeal and other proceedings before the High Court, typewritten or printed only on one side of the paper. Therefore, it is informed that hereafter all petitions, affidavits, memorandum of appeal and other proceedings presented before the High Court can be typewritten/ printed on both sides of the paper.
