Case against Ram Gopal Varma for posting 'morphed' images of Chandrababu Naidu
India TodayA case has been registered against controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma for allegedly posting morphed images of Telugu Desam Party leaders, including Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, his son Nara Lokesh and Jana Sena party chief and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on social media. The case was filed at Maddipadu police station in Prakasam district following a complaint lodged by TDP leader Ramalingam, who accused Varma of using social media to circulate disrespectful content aimed at Naidu and his family, including his son Lokesh and daughter-in-law Brahmini. In his complaint, Ramalingam alleged that the derogatory posts on social media undermined the standing of the Chief Minister, his deputy and their family members in society. "We registered a case against Ram Gopal Varma at Maddipadu police station for morphing the photographs of the present Chief Minister, his family members and Deputy Chief Minister in an offensive way," Damodar said.
