At IIT Guwahati, 214 Students Secure Jobs In Pre-placement Drive

Campus placements in IITs started on December 1, 2022, with many renowned Indian and international companies participating. The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati has initiated pre-placement drives where students have started receiving job offers even before placements. Recently, IIT Guwahati organised a pre-placement drive, and according to reports, 214 students received job offers, slightly fewer than the previous year’s 218 students who secured job offers during the IIT Guwahati pre-placement drive in 2022. IIT Guwahati’s Career Development Head mentioned that this year, five students received package offers exceeding Rs 1 crore, with the highest offer reaching Rs 1.10 crore. In the ongoing campus placements at IIT Guwahati, a B.Tech student received an international job offer with an annual package of Rs 2.4 crore, making it the highest package offered by any student in the institution so far.
