WB Teacher Recruitment 2021: Interviews in upper primary schools to being next week

The West Bengal School Service Commission announced on Saturday that the appointment interviews of teachers for upper primary schools are set to commence from next week. Once it is started from next week across the state, the interview process will be completed in 12 weeks, West Bengal Central School Service Commission Chairman Subhasankar Sarkar told reporters. The announcement regarding the appointment interviews came after the Calcutta High Court on Friday vacated an interim stay on the selection process for the appointment of around 14,500 teachers for upper primary schools in the state. The official notification regarding the recruitment process further states that those who are not satisfied with the list of interviewees can approach the West Bengal School Service Commission to appeal for review.
