India TodayAir Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria on Monday said the integration of Rafale fighter aircraft has given India an edge over its rivals including the capability to strike “first and deep”. It may be noted that the newly inducted multi-role Rafale fighter aircraft will feature in the Air Force Day parade on October 8. “Along with other aircraft, the Rafale aircraft, built by French aerospace major Dassault Aviation, will also take part in the Air Force Day parade on October 8," an IAF official said. “The Rafale fighter is a 4.5 generation, twin-engine omnirole, air supremacy, interdiction, aerial reconnaissance, ground support, in-depth strike, anti-ship and nuclear deterrence fighter aircraft, equipped with a wide range of weapons,” The IAF said in a tweet.
