F1 driver rankings, Hungary edition: Verstappen makes history, Norris repeats

Lewis Hamilton Start: P1 Finish: P4 Hamilton’s weekend summed up his and Mercedes’ season so far: ups and downs combined with uncertainty over just how quick his car really was. Hamilton’s poor start meant that when Verstappen outmuscled him at Turn 1, both Piastri and Norris could also slip ahead. Mercedes’ pace looked strong, and Russell quietly climbed from a P18 start to a sixth place finish during a clean two-stop race, also benefiting from Charles Leclerc’s five-second penalty for speeding in the pit lane.
