Girl, you're no longer Governor: Elon Musk trolls Trudeau for rejecting merger call
India TodayTech titan Elon Musk roasted Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau after he asserted that there was no chance that Canada would become part of the US, as pitched by President-elect Donald Trump on several occasions. Picking a leaf from Trump's playbook, Musk referred to Trudeau as the "governor of Canada", saying his views do not matter now as he has decided to step down as Prime Minister. "Girl, you're not the governor of Canada anymore, so doesn't matter what you say," Musk tweeted, referring to Trudeau's recent announcement to step down as leader of the Liberal Party and Prime Minister amid deteriorating approval ratings. The US President-elect has been teasing Trudeau by calling him the "governor" after he emphasised during a recent meeting with him that Canada should become the 51st US state if it can't handle aggressive tariffs.
