Javed Akhtar also called on civilised society and world leaders to condemn the repression of Afghan women and urged them to refuse to recognise the Taliban-led government in Afghanistan. “Every decent person, every democratic government, every civilised society in the world should refuse to recognise and condemn Taliban for their ruthless repression of Afghan women or let’s forget the words like justice, humanity and conscience,” Javed Akhtar said in a tweet on Friday.
