Hyderabad: City residents intending to embark on the Haj pilgrimage next year got valuable lessons on religious practices at the holy places as well as on travel and accommodation procedures and processes. They were speaking to Deccan Chronicle at the Telangana Haj Committee’s first training camp for Haj 2025 pilgrims. Haj Committee chairman Biabani advised pilgrims to maintain good health and to develop a habit of walking regularly to avoid difficulties during the pilgrimage. Tafseer Iqbal, special secretary to minority welfare, M.D Faheemuddin, vice-chairman of Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society, members of Haj committee and district secretaries participated in the programme.
