An eight-year-old boy from Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly was allegedly tied to a wooden pole and flogged for plucking flowers from a nursery. The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon in the Umaria village in Bareilly after the boy, Adarsh, allegedly plucked flowers from the nursery. The victim's father, Pintu Sharma, registered a complaint with the Cantonment police station against Rohit Tandon, the owner of Pushpanjali Rose Nursery, Indian Express reported. Station House Officer said Thursday morning said that the police are conducting raids to arrest the father-son duo who have been on the run since the incident took place.
