West Bengal Police Raid House of BJP Leader Suvendu Adhikari, Sparking Outrage

KOLKATA: West Bengal police on Tuesday raided a rented house of leader of the opposition Suvendu Adhikari, leaving him furious. In the afternoon, around 70 cops conducted the raid on the rented house of the Nandigram BJP MLA at Kolaghat in East Midnapore. Mr Adhikari who was at a Lok Sabha Election campaign rally rushed to Kolaghat police station in the evening with his aides and burst into anger. It is clear chief minister Mamata Banerjee is trying to victimise me,” the BJP MLA claimed.
