TGSRTC buses transport lakhs of passengers to their destination this Sankranti

This Sankranti holiday season, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation ramped up its efforts to cater to the festive passenger rush by pressing into service a higher number of special buses. As in previous years, the TGSRTC deployed 300 buses per day from the Greater Hyderabad Zone’s fleet to manage passenger traffic. The primary travel routes were within Telangana and towards Andhra Pradesh, resulting in relatively lower passenger movement within Hyderabad city itself. However, this shift in bus allocation caused inconvenience for some commuters travelling within the city, who found their options limited due to the reduced number of buses operating within city routes.
