Threads Is Also Testing This Popular Instagram And Snapchat Feature: All Details
Meta-owned Threads has 175 million users and it is reportedly testing a new feature. If Threads implements the 24-hour post feature, it will be a first among its social network rivals such as X, Bluesky and Mastodon. Details regarding when the Meta-owned social media platform might roll out the feature to a wider user base remain under wraps. It is also unclear whether users can add a specific time under 24 hours to automatically delete the post. The post also contained a banner on top of the post that said, “Your posts and all the replies will be automatically deleted in 24 hours and removed from your profile.” While the banner did not specify anything about quoted replies, the media portal claimed that quoted posts also disappear once the timer for the original post runs out.
