On Friday, Chief Justice Ravi Malimath of Madhya Pradesh High Court and Patron M.P. State Judicial Academy, Jabalpur inaugurated the Capacity Building Special Training Programme for Advocates with zero to five-year experience at the Madhya Pradesh High Court, Bench at Gwalior. Justice Rohit Arya, Administrative Judge, Justice Anand Pathak, Member Governing Council, MPSJA and Judges of High Court of M.P., Bench at Gwalior were present at the inauguration. While addressing the gathering Chief Justice Malimath highlighted the importance of training for advocates and said that " the standard of the Bench depends on the standard of the Bar because unless the foundation is strong you cannot build a tower on that.” According to the direction of the Chief Justice to ensure that training reaches every corner of the State, the first-of-its-kind training for advocates was designed in three fragments namely; Foundation Training Programme for Advocates at the District level, Regional Workshop for Advocates targeting group of districts and Special Workshop for Advocates focusing on lawyers practising at High court.
