Central University to host two-day national seminar from today
The HinduThe Department of Public Administration at Central University of Karnataka will, in association with the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi, organise a two-day national seminar on Trajectories of Indigenous Administrative Practices in India—A Road Ahead for Academia and Practice starting Thursday. In a media note here on Wednesday, convenor of the seminar and Assistant Professor of Political Science at the university Kiran Gajanur said that university Vice-Chancellor Battu Sathyanarayana will inaugurate the conference at the auditorium on the main campus of the university near Kadaganchi in Aland taluk of Kalaburagi district at 10 a.m. University Registrar R.R. Biradar will be the chief guest, he said and added that a former professor of Political Science at Mangalore University Rajaram Tolpadi will deliver the keynote address at the inaugural event. Mr. Gajanur said that 19 research scholars from various universities across the country, including those from Banaras Hindu University, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Tumkur University and Mysuru University, will present their research papers in the different sessions during the two-day event.
