Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina arrives in India ahead of Narendra Modi's oath-taking ceremony
India TV NewsModi government 3.0: Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in New Delhi on Saturday ahead of Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony tomorrow, where he will become the Indian PM for a record third time after the National Democratic Alliance secured a majority in the recent Lok Sabha elections under his leadership. The leaders who will attend PM Modi's swearing-in ceremony include Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu, Mauritian PM Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, Nepal PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Bhutan PM Tshering Tobgay and Seychelles Vice-President Ahmed Afif, according to the Ministry of External Affairs. Delhi Police, in an advisory posted on X, said, "With effect from 09.06.2024, there will be a prohibition on flying of sub-conventional aerial platforms like para-gliders, para-motors, hang-gliders, UAVs, UASS, microlight aircraft, remotely piloted aircraft, hot air balloons, small-sized powered aircraft, quadcopters, or para-jumping from aircraft, etc., over the jurisdiction of the NCT of Delhi in view of the swearing-in ceremony in the National Capital Territory of Delhi to thwart criminal, anti-social elements, or terrorists inimical to India from posing a threat to the safety of the general public, dignitaries, and vital installations by using them."
