Reliance to generate of 10 GW of renewable solar energy in AP: Ambani

Visakhapatnam: Reliance Industries chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani vowed to invest in the generation of 10 gigawatts of renewable solar energy in Andhra Pradesh. Addressing the inaugural session of AP Global Investors Summit here on Friday, the Reliance industries head said that Andhra Pradesh was playing a crucial role in India’s economic growth. Ambani said that India had become the largest growing economy in the world and so was the case with AP, including in economic growth and EoDB where it is ranked number one in the country. He said that Reliance had invested nearly Rs 40,000 crore for the Jio network and added that its 4G network would cover 98 per cent of AP’s population.
