Jio GigaFiber may not launch anytime soon, free Preview offer to be available for almost one year

While Jio GigaFiber is available in a lot of areas as part of Preview offer, which gives users a choice between 100Mbps and 50Mbps connection, there is a lot of confusion about its commercial availability. Earlier indications were that the official Jio GigaFiber launch would be in July at Reliance Annual General Meeting but now there are hints that this may not be the case. However, over here at the India Today Tech, we have learnt from service engineers responsible for installing new GigaFiber connections under the Preview offer that the official launch of the service may not happen anytime soon. On condition of anonymity, the person told the India Today Tech that GigaFiber would continue to be free for nearly one more year as part of the Preview offer because the official launch is not expected this year.
