Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Pune, Maharashtra, on Tuesday to lay the groundwork for numerous development projects and signal the start of Metro service on the completed parts of the two lines of Pune Metro Phase I. According to the statement, the inauguration is a major step towards fulfilling the prime minister's ambition of providing residents with contemporary and environmentally friendly mass fast urban transportation networks across the country. He will also receive the Lokmanya Tilak National Award, established by the Tilak Smarak Mandir Trust in 1983 to recognise Lokmanya Tilak's legacy.
