Apple may take a few more years before launching its smart glasses
India TodayFor the past few years, we have seen numerous reports and speculation claiming that Apple is working on creating lightweight, practical smart glasses, often referred to as "Apple AR smart glasses." According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is facing significant technical and design challenges in the development of Apple smart Glasses, which is further delaying the product's launch. In his latest "Power On" newsletter, Gurman, replying to a question, revealed that while the recently unveiled Apple Vision Pro headset marked Apple's first major step into augmented reality and virtual reality, developing sleek, functional, and affordable smart glasses is proving to be far more complex. He stated that although Apple continues to work on augmented reality smart glasses, a product launch is not expected anytime soon. Given that Apple smart glasses will need to be sleek, miniaturizing batteries to fit within the thin arms of the glasses while ensuring several hours of operation is a significant obstacle.
