Karnataka: IMD predicts drop in temperatures over next three days

Deccan Chronicle

Mangaluru: The India Meteorological Department has forecast a drop in minimum temperatures across some of the North Karnataka districts over the next three days. In South Interior Karnataka, temperatures are expected to fall by 2-3°C from normal for the next three days, after which temperatures will gradually rise. As the cold wave is expected to impact the region, the Yadgir district administration has urged residents to take precautions, particularly those planning to walk before sunrise or after sunset. The administration has also advised residents in rural areas, especially farmers, to refrain from unnecessary travel on two-wheelers due to the expected chilly winds.
