Cong. Protests KTR's Comments on Rahul
Deccan ChronicleHyderabad: Hyderabad district Congress and TPCC Mahila Congress activists burnt effigies of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and minister K.T. Rama Rao at the Nampally main road on Tuesday to protest against Rama Rao’s alleged inappropriate comments on senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Speaking to the media, Sameer Waliullah strongly objected to the inappropriate comments made by Rama Rao against Rahul Gandhi, saying that the latter did not know about agriculture. He said Rahul Gandhi has given specific assurances to farmers concerning waiver of crop loans up to Rs 2 lakh, financial assistance of Rs 15,000 per acre annually and best prices for their crops. Since farmers have decided to teach BRS a lesson in the forthcoming Assembly elections, Rama Rao is trying to divert their attention by making inappropriate comments against Rahul Gandhi.
