A lawyer representing Scottie Scheffler says he did nothing wrong and will plead not guilty Scheffler was arrested on Friday morning and was charged with four separate counts The police report said Scheffler failed to comply with instructions and then drove away from an officer, Bryan Gillis, causing the latter to be dragged along by the two-time Masters winner's car. The charges against Scheffler were listed by local police as second-degree assault of a police officer, third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving and disregarding traffic signals from an officer.
